- Comply with work health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with SOPs
- Identify job requirements from specifications, drawings, job sheets or work instructions
- Assess condition of item and the nature and extent of damage in accordance with SOPs
- Obtain assessment information and advice as required
- Establish repair requirements and materials
- Convey recommended repairs and options to client and confirm required repair work
- Select appropriate repair techniques in accordance with item construction and condition
- Obtain or manufacture replacement components in accordance with SOPs
- Identify and address unforeseen effects of the repair work and minimise evidence of the repair
- Ensure repaired item conforms to original specifications and identified customer requirements
- Complete documentation of repair work
- Collect unused and excess materials and store
- Clean work area, tools and equipment and store in accordance with SOPs
